Post Transfer

Hi ladies,

Sunday is the big day we have long been waiting for! One question we have is if my wife can return to work on Monday. The transfer is for 11:30 Sunday morning and my wife's boss needs to know if she can return to work on Monday morning. My wife is a nanny. I know she shouldnt do any heavy lifting or anything too physically strenuous, but does she have to be on bed rest for 24 hours after the transfer? We want to exercise extreme caution since we dont want to put our chances of pregnancy at risk for any reason. Taking the day off on Monday will not be a problem and my wife's boss is very understanding, but we want to know if this is really necessary. Please advise and please pray for us. Thanks!

Warm Regards,
Gary & Cathy

Yes. Take the day, take two, even better.

Physically she will feel fine, but being well rested and avoiding stress is crucial during that time. If this is a 5 day transfer, implantation happens almost immediately. If she can take the days off easily, she absolutely should take full advantage.

Tons of luck to you both!!!!Chat Icon

My Dr. and instructons actually say that you can go back to regular activities the next day. That being said...I am also doing bed rest the day after transfer. Some folks do more...some less. I would only be concerned that as a nanny she might be very stressed out the next day. GL to you and your wife!!

Re: Post Transfer

Good LUck! I took two full days off of work! My doctor suggested it and honestly I felt better just resting and keeping my feet up.
All the best!Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon
