Well it's not like she is probably going to go to public school - they will probably shelter her from being ridiculed. In my opinion the name is no worse than Apple and she can always just go by the nickname Ivy. What I DO feel badly for her about is that her parents think they are so self important and better than everyone else (if the rumors about the hospital stay are true) because then she will be raised to be the same way.

I don't think it's absolutely that horrible. Unusual maybe. But not horrid. And to be honest some names I've heard on here make me go  . Just as Im sure there are people out there who don't like my kids names. It's all opinion.
And like PP said, Im pretty sure kids will let her unusual name slide by when they know who her parents are.

ITA if the rumors are true they are truly horrible the way they acted in the hospital.

Well to be fair they had no choice to name her blue ivy beacuse These awesome names were already taken ...daisy bboo , heavenly Hirrani tiger Lilly, moxi crime fighter, poppy honey, apple, and my favorite is daughters of frank and Gail zapa both musicians ...Moon unit and diva muffin. You cant make this stuff up, apparently if you have lots of money you can name your kids random objects and get away with it....you can look it up there are many more ....found them at infoplease.com. :)
