we only looked at one put in an offer the next day and got it lol

We bid on one house and were told by everyone that it's a buyer's market and we should lowball. The owner said he'd rather die in that house than take our offer. No counter offer.

We learned our lesson and 3 weeks later found "the" house and went all in - bid $10,000 below asking price, they countered will full asking price and we said okay. It had been on the market all of 4 days.

Btw - the first house was on the market for 4 more months and the owner lowered his asking price to what we were willing to pay for it. I check Listingbook every single day to see what it sold for! It's still "pending."

our house we just bought was our 4th contract!

For our first house, we saw well over 50 houses, and only bid on this one.

For our second house, bid on 2 so far.

i wanna say 4. we went through a lot of bidding wars. i wish i could say i actually have the one i am in contract in but its been a long and stressful process

We got the first house we bid on. We were going to bid on two others but they went so fast we did not make it in time.

I voted 3-4, but I think it was 4 or 5. Either way, we got the first house we bid on, but it had a ton of issues that basically made it unsafe for us to live in.

1. Just missed on the first one - or so we were told.
2. We were way off on the second - we knew we were low balling but took a chance.
3. Got the 3rd one but could not get into contract fast enough (away on on our Honeymoon) and were outbid.
4. Finally go the 4th one and here we are.

Current home...was our first and only bid.

Now I am househunting...havent bid even once yet.

5-6, but it was a different market back then. Homes went within a day or two and/or went into bidding wars.

we bid on 3-4. We were actually the ones who decided not to take the other 2 we bid on, we changed our minds about liking the houses LOL. The 3rd we got but then fell through because the house was being flipped twice, and it seemed kinda shady. Then we wound up with our current house which we looked at 3 months before and it was in contract, but luckily the contract fell through and we got it!!!

Three! We thank God, we didn't get the first two. They were in a little better of an area but way too small.

Wow, this is very surprising.. for how attached you can get I hope it doesn't take multiple houses

We only bid on our house.

We were going to make an offer on another house but someone came in with an all cash offer which we could not compete with. That worked out great though because we love our house so much more.

We liked 4 houses we looked at

1. We had an accepted offer - but the inspection came back bad and we pulled out
2. We lost
3. We put in an offer $10,000 and the owner was unwilling to come down in price. We walked away.
4. Our house - which is now for sale if anyone is interested? :) We're in East Rockaway.
