Hi - not a big poster here but really love this site for great information.
My 15 DS is a good eater, lots of fruits and veggies and we had his 15 month check up yesterday and the Ped gave me an RX for the Poli-Vi-Flor.
Just wondering if this is the norm for vitamins at this age if he has a well balanced diet.

Yes, we had this vitamin as well, however it was prescribed much earlier (around 9 mos i think?)

This.. AJ had at around 9m for maybe 6m then I was told I could stop.

Earlier on I was giving DS the baby water with flouride so the Ped said I didn't have to give him any extra vitamins so it's weird that he wants me to give now....DS was having a meltdown in dr office so i didn't get a chance to question him when he gave me the RX...

ds started the drops around 9m and now at 20m just started the chewables
my ds eats good but not balanced so i feel better that he gets the vitamin

They gave me a script when she was 6 mo. He said they need this time to build good enamel. I just filled it she's 8 mo.
