POAS misery

Alright...I couldn't hold out, and I tested on an FRER yesterday (I think 10 DPO). After a few minutes, I got a faint positive line. Sooooo, of course I took two more as the day went on. The second was even lighter than the first, then the third was darker (but still faint.)

I didn't tell DH b/c I just had a feeling that it wasn't for real....I have no idea why. I woke up this morning feeling bloated and kind of breaking out (AF signs- she is due Saturday....)

I bought two FRER digitals last night and just took one.....it said "no." I am 11 or 12 DPO....do you think I am out?

I am trying to stay positive- it is totally fine if I am out.....but I just feel so blue about it..... Chat Icon

Re: POAS misery

Did the lines show up within the time period on the instructions?

If so, then I would think it's safe to say that you are pregnant.

Digital tests often require higher levels of hCG to be present before giving a positive result. Also, you mentioned that you tested at night so your urine might have been diluted.

I would wait until AF is due and test again with a digital with FMU!

But honestly, I think congratulations are in order! Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: POAS misery

I think the lines were supposed to show up within 3 minutes- I really think they came more around the 5 minute mark.....I don't know why but I just feel like maybe I *was* pregnant b/c I had some really funky symptoms but that it's not sticking......

Thanks for the positivity though.....I could use it right now!

Re: POAS misery

Not yet! I want to so badly, but I only have a digital FRER in the house and I don't want to dissapoint myself again!

I spilled my guts last night to DH about my recent adventures in POAS and he was so sweet about it....I was trying to not tell him anything until I know something for sure, but it was so nice to have someone to show. I guess I just wanted to protect him from the sadness of a BFN....

I don't even know where my last stick is- I gave it to him last night after I told him...."here, take this stick....cause I really want to pee on it!"Chat Icon

I am thinking about running out to get some more non-digitals, but I am trying to control myself........why is this so hard?Chat Icon
