Please send me some good vibes!
I went to my gyno yesterday since I haven't had Aunt Flo since December 3rd. She seems to be leaning towards PCOS and sent me for blood work. She also told me to take an ovulation test every morning for a month to see if I ever ovulate naturally.
I'm so stressed out waiting for the blood test results! Infertility is my biggest fear! Any good vibes would be much appreciated!

Re: Please send me some good vibes!
as someone who has infertility due to PCOS, its not the worst thing in the world. its not a death sentence.
of course its not fun and games either.
do you ovulate on your own? do you have regular cycles? if so, then that is half the battle to begin with. if you dont then you will need assistance from an RE to conceive. but it may be as easy as clomid or a very basic ovulation induction med.
and if those don't work, there are many many options these days. it took me 18m and IVF to conceive my DD, but she's 10m old now and perfect, and it was worth going through everything to get her and i would do it again in a heartbeat!!!
good luck!!!

100% agree with this! FlowerWife made some wonderful points- there are so many options. It can get frustrating sometimes (It took me 6 IUIs to get pregnant) but in the end its all worth it.
I hope IF is not the case for you...but at the same time I hope you get answers!! Good luck!!

Re: Please send me some good vibes!
Thank you all so much for the feed back! It's so great to hear about you ladies who have PCOS and have had success getting pregnant!
As of right now, I have no idea whether I ovulate on my own or not. I've only tested the past 3 days and all of them were negative. I guess I will have more answers once my blood work comes back.
Thank you all again for the support!!

Just wanted to throw out there that just because you get a + on an OPK doesn't mean that you actually ovulated. It just means your body is trying to ovulate. Your dr should really follow a + OPK up with a blood test a week after O to confirm one way or another.
