please rec. all inclusive
I am looking for a budget all inclusive for two seniors who have never been to an all inclusiive. Only two people going, no children, and not looking to break the bank. However it has to be really nice. Would like the resort to have a nice pool as well as beaches.

We went to St. Lucia in April and it was incredible! The resort we stayed at was pretty pricey but the island itself is amazing. You should check out cheapcaribbean.com for other hotels. My cousin has used them quite a few times and she has never had any complaints.

I'm not crazy about St. Lucia for seniors, only because it's hilly. I don't know them personally, so I am not sure how mobile they are, but it's tough even for me, shuttles and all.
I love Secrets in Cancun or Jamaica Sandals in Jamaica is awesome, too. the service is unbeatable

We went to the RIU in Aruba for our honeymoon and LOVED it!! We booked through cheapcaribbean.com because they had the best prices.

Secrets is pretty reasonable. About $150 per person, per night but all inclusive and really, really nice.

Couples in Jamaica
When we booked, it was far less expensive than Sandals. Couples Swept Away was the best but Ochos Rios and Tower Isle were also great. The food was phenomenal. No tipping allowed, so great service all around (I hate the constant tipping at resorts). I'd highly recommend it for any couple but seniors as well. (Ochos Rios seems to have more older guests there but the beach at Swept away was better)

Re: please rec. all inclusive
I've been to a few all-inclusives and my absolute favorite was the Excellence in Riviera Maya (they have a property in DR, too). It was gorgeous and I thought very affordable.
I've been to Sandals (in St. Lucia) and would never, ever go back- definitely not to a Sandals and probably not to St. Lucia.

We stayed at Barcelo resort in Riviera Maya. It was very affordable. They have 5 hotels on 1 property all different price points/themes. Ages were all over the place. I'm an old lady at heart - not into partying, drinking, etc-and I had a great time. I was pregnant when we went but there were still lots to do. We went for my mom's birthday.

We went to the Jewell duns river falls resort in Jamaica- and really liked it!! It's smaller, easy to get around , adults only so fairly quiet... Has a beach area, 2 pools, and I think 4 restaurants, easy flight from here
