We leave for St Lucia on Saturday.
End of May/Early June a Paris & Ischia trip is brewing.
San Francisco & Santa Cruz for a long weekend and some camping.
a northeast trip (like Nantuket, Cape Cod, MV) for late August.

We're planning on going to Florida in June and again in September. We may try to throw Myrtle Beach in there too. And I will probbay be taking a weekender with the irls to Newport and then possibly another weekend trip to Nebraska to visit a friend- both trips without the kids!

I'll have a newborn, so not too far unfortunately.
My family will be down for a few days in August, so that will be nice. We normally spend some time upstate with my family in the summer, but not this year, I'm not lugging a newborn around.
I do want to do Sesame with DD...maybe a day trip (though it is a hike for us) with leaving the baby with someone for the day.

Have you been to the DR before? The food is dreadful...pack some of your DC's fave snacks!
Beautiful beaches/island but the food is the worst!

Our big first trip on a plane with DD will be to Barbados in Oct... EEEEKS Im so nervous already... Not about the trip, we go to Barbados all the time... but about her first plane ride...

I need ideas of where to go with my 16month old DD...
We are planning a 5 day trip to the Caribbean but still deciding on an island that is beautiful and kid friendly.
Any recommendations?? TIA!!
We went to Beaches in Turks and Caicos with DD and it was the BEST!!!
Also went on a cruise with her and that was also pretty amazing!

Since DC # 3 is coming in October we are going to be pretty low key this summer. We will spend 4 days on Block Island in July for my brother's wedding, and in August we will do a week in Cape May, NJ.
We plan on doing either Disney or Turks & Caicos in April 2011.

We're doing disney in 3 weeks.
Planning a cruise in October (but just sticking to key west, bahamas, turks & caicos area).
And then hopefully planning #2. 
So the vacations end there!!!!

WE are going to visit my sister and brother in California in July. Taking Seamus to Disney (for the 2nd time - he went when he was 4 months old) We will be out there for his 2nd birthday so we will have a party for him there as well
Then a short trip to either Sesame Place or Great Wolf Lodge. Havent decided yet
Might also do a long weekend in Florida so Seamus can finally meet his Oma (great grandma)

We are going to try to hit up Sesame Place. But my sister only lives about 45 minutes from there so we'd probably crash at her house.
DH and I will be going to St. Thomas at the end of the month without Ryan for 4 days. He won the trip through work.
I want to do Hershey. But my cousin is moving back to Hershey, PA after living in TN for 3 years, so I may wait until she gets back so we can stay with her and save on hotel expenses.

Great thread. We are planning local trips Montauk and Fire Island. My parents live in FL 15 minutes from Disney and they are dying to take our DS but I think I hold off until he is a little older.

I was freaking when I took the boys to England last year, but they were rockstars on the plane. I gave DS#2 a bottle just as we were taking off so his ears did not hurt him, and I masde sure DS#1 had plenty to do. He was so fascinated by being in the plane he was chatting up the flight attendants, and they brought him over to the door to look out the window. (plus the TVs in the back of the seats did not hurt either!)
ETA: I did not answer the OP!. We are taking some small weekend trips to see some friends & Family out of town in VT & MD. Then we are going to England to see my cousins, and from there we are all going to Disney Paris together. Then when they come to the states later this year, we are going to Disney Orlando together.
