I am so sorry for your friend.
I have a new friend who experience similar years before we met and she said that counseling helped.
I'm sure the hospital will make sure she goes but you can guide her to make sure she does even if she does not feel like it.
The food idea is a very nice idea too.
So so sorry. What a tragedy.  God bless that family.

I am so incredibly sorry for your friends loss. It's times like this when I wonder what God is really about.

I didn't see your original post either but I figured out what this is about. It absolutely breaks my heart anytime I hear about these stories. My mother had a stillborn 30 years ago...she still talks about him until this day. Her goal is to get to heaven so she could see him again.
One thing she said that she didn't have is people who listened to her. Everyone tried to ignore what happened after the fact and that tore her up inside. All you could do is listen, let her talk, cry or just be. Many prayers for your friend and her family

I have been crying since last night over this tragic news. I am so so sorry for your friend, Jenna. Donna and Heather made some excellent points. Just be there for her, at any time, in any way possible. And to remember!! I really cannot stress that enough!! Do not be afraid to mention the baby and let her know how much her daughter is loved and how truly special she is. Also, let your friend know how special she is as a mom, and will continue to be. Always.
Also, after our loss my husband and I joined two bereavement groups and they were wonderful. I do not know where your friend is located but I can get you info. This of course, may be something she may not want to do right away but she may in time.
I will be thinking of everyone!!
