Play-Doh Surprise Eggs
My DS watches youtube videos of toy reviews. He loves the giant eggs covered in play-doh with a play-doh face of a Paw Patrol dog. You open the egg and there's a little surprise inside. I tried searching everywhere and can't find where they sell them.
Anyone know what I'm talking about?

I found the toy reviewer on Instagram and it looks like she makes them (toysunlimitedllc). I commented and asked if she sells them. We'll see what she says.

Those are chocolate, and ban from being sold in the US (choking hazard issue I guess).

Play-Doh Surprise Eggs
My dd is obsessed with those YouTube videos of opening eggs with toys inside. No clue what they are. It's not playdoh or chocolate

Re: Play-Doh Surprise Eggs
The chocolate kinder eggs are banned in US, but available in Europe. I think the rest the video makers just make.

My DD is obsessed with these videos too. The woman just buys toys and buys empty eggs, and then opens them up and pretends to be surprised. And she does the play-doh on top of them. She drives me nuts. And yes, the engineering family is the worst! DD won't even watch them. I can't believe how many millions of views these videos get. And how much money these people are making!

Re: Play-Doh Surprise Eggs
You can make them yourself...get some eggs and little toys and then mold the play doh around the toy, stick it in the egg.

I have no idea where you buy them but OH. MY. GOD! WTF is with these videos? My DS is OBSESSED. It's actually becoming a problem.
I'm glad to see other people's kids watch these because I was beginning to think my DS was a weirdo.

Play-Doh Surprise Eggs
The original Kinder Eggs are from Europe. And its illegal to bring them to the US! LOL Because they have a small toy inside food, the US considers it a choking hazard.
ETA: My dd is obsessed.
You can totally make them yourself. I do... You buy plastic eggs (like you used for easter) put cute lil toys in (I get them anywhere hobby shop, target) and then I wrap them in playdoh.

The response is called ASMR..Autonomous sensory meridian response (ASMR) is a neologism for a perceptual phenomenon characterized as a distinct, pleasurable tingling sensation in the head, scalp, back, or peripheral regions of the body in response to visual, auditory, tactile, olfactory, or cognitive stimuli. The nature and classification of the ASMR phenomenon is controversial,[1] with much anecdotal evidence of the phenomenon but little or no scientific explanation or verified data
