I think you could probably do 5, though 6 would definitely be playing it safe.

5 pies is if everyone has 2 slices or less. I usually have 3, and DS usually has 3, if not more (he's 7, but he eats as much as I do sometimes!   )

They cut sicilian pies into 12 (maybe even 16 slices). You could get 2 of them and 2 regular than.

I was going to say 7...
Even if its too much, send some home with friends/family or freeze the pieces individually. Makes for a great lunch or dinner for the kids in a pinch.
I would rather have too much than too little!
Also when we do pizza with family (there are about 15 of us) we do about 5 pies but 1 of those is a stuffed meat which is like 2 pies itself, and we get variety, we will get for example, the meat pie, a salad pie, regular, white, grandma or penne a la vodka etc....
