If you served pizza at a party?
What other options did you have? We are having DS 1st bday party at home. YES, i know i have a few more months, but i like to prepare far in advance, 
Anyway DH thinks we should offer pizza and drinks and nothing else. While i say no, that we need more options.

What about a big pasta salad or regular salad to go with it? If you really think you need something else you could also do wraps or a hero.

We had a large tossed salad, veggies tray, fruit tray, chips/dips, pizza and wings.

we did that for DS first b-day. Went to BJ's and got the frozen chicken fingers and fries. We served that with the heroes along with salads
For pizza I think you're fine with some salads with the pizza and if you want to do chicken tenders for the kids.

We also had chips & dip, crudite, a green salad, garlic knots, and mozzarella sticks. We got a few cheese pies, a couple pepperoni, one veggie and one supreme. Then cake, cookies and fruit salad.
Drinks we only served soda, coffee, tea, as we don't drink alcohol in our home.
Our kids were the only ones there so no need for extra chicken nuggets or whatever.

For Landon's friends party we just had pizza. I ordered enough for the adults too but had all the pies cut into 16ths.
We also had a lot of chips, snakcs, dips, fruit, etc.

DS is 7, and I've probably been to well over a dozen kids b-day parties. 99% of the time (yes, I know the math doesn't actually work out, but you get the idea....   )
it's been just pizza and soda.

We did something a bit different for my DS's party with the pizza ...
In addition to regualr pies, we got a ton of specialty pies from a great pizzeria by us ( Chicken Marsala pizza , Gorgonzola Pizza, Salad Pizza, Eggplant Rolatini Pizza) and a bunch more....Everyone told us what a great idea it was
