pink eye- how long until no longer contagious
DD has pink eye in BOTH eyes. They told us at daycare to watch for it because her eye had gook in it. So I immediately took her to the Pedro when we got home tonight. We are starting drops tonight. How long til she is no longer contaigous? Will it clear up quickly? TIA!

So if i did the first drops at 9:30 tonight, she shouldn't be contaigous tomorrow night. Great! Thank you!

I'm an eye doc and tell pts when the eye is no longer red, they can return to school. Viral conjunctivitis is very contagious, bacterial is not as bad but pediatricians tend to give drops for both...
