How long is pink eye contagious?
Seamus' eye has been red since Sunday. I have put the ointment in 3 times a day since then, so almost 4 days
He has no more tearing and no more discharge but 1 corner of his eye is still red.
I kept him home from daycare yesterday and he is due to go tomorrow. Can he?
I stayed home from work Monday with the stomach virus, DH stayed home today with it and I cant miss 2 conference calls tomorrow. And of course, I do not want to infect any other children

My ped says after being treated with antibiotic drops for 24 hours. We never used the ointment, but I'm sure it's the same.

DS had it and he was able to return after 24 hours (he was given drops as well). DS's school wouldn't allow him back without a note though, so I'd check with your son's daycare.
Glad he is better!

Ugh, I get it all the time. It's no longer contageous after 24 hours using the drops or ointment.
