Pillow under after ?
Do you put a pillow under your butt after You dtd? If so for how long?

I do this occasionally and did when we conceived DD. I usually try to do it for maybe five minutes or so. Not sure if it works but it makes me feel like it's working

I do for 10 mins!
My RE said you really only have to lay there for about 10 mins. I used to lay there for 45 mins....blah!

Since this is our first month trying I did it only a couple of times for 15-30 mins. If not I just lie in bed for an hr.

I didn't. Actually, when we DTD I was usually on top  , and we still got a BFP.
The good, healthy sperm are going to start swimming immediately through your CM, and aren't going to fall out. It's survival of the fittest in there, and trust me, MILLIONS of little guys make it.

The month I got a BFP I kept my legs up in the air or atleast stayed lying down and didnt go to teh bathroom for like 10-20 minutes after DTD. Always thought it was an old wives tale but my doc had recommended it too!

In the beginning I said I would never do that, but after months of BFNs I gave it a try. I did it for anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes and it obviously didn't hurt!

from not cleaning up right after..not saying u have to run like the wind 2 seconds after but i do not want to lay for half hour

This is what my Dr. told me to do...put a pillow underneath for five minutes and then roll over on your stomach for another five min. After 10 failed cycles, I tried this and immediately got my bfp! Don't know if it was coincidence or not but it worked! I also have a retroverted uterus which is why he told me to do this.

Wow, there are a lot of stories here that are leading me to think this is the way to go. Do you know why the Dr. said to roll on your stomach though?
