Lovely Teri! the cabs looks similar to the finish we (I) chose, they call it Mocha Glaze I think. Anyway, I think it makes it look so rich.
Q: Do you mind the stove where it is - close to the cabinet that is facing out where the "L" of the cabinets is? We are moving our stove and fridge too and have the option to put a base cabinet between the corner and the stove or on the other side like you did. Thanks.

OMG Teri, it looks fantastic all finished and painted! What a great job, I love the color you chose.... So you didn't go with a red afterall, and I think it looks great! Enjoy!

Liz - Ya know, it was really hard to decide where we should put the appliances, since we still didn't have THAT much room to work with. We had to move the fridge where it is now, and the stove had to go there so that we could have a functioning pull out cabinet in between. So that corner space is now lost....but it was either that, or have the stove a bit to the left, but then we'd only have half the space for the drawers on the left and a tiny spot for a lazy susan in the corner. We like it this way better. We just had to make sure we could open the stove door without bumping into the cabinet pulls, which is fine.
Trish - yep, we nixed the red - I really wanted it, but I think the tan goes a lot better in the room. There is a touch of red in the granite, but it's really not enough to use on the walls.

Okay, here's the info:
Kitchens and Baths LTD, Commack Rd, Commack. If anyone meets with them, FM me so I can give you my name
The cabinets were Cuisistock (Canada), maple with glaze finish. They are all self closing and we have a few pull out drawers too which are really handy.
The tile floor is Cedomus Durango floor tile in Beige.
The granite is Maduri Gold, from Stone World in Lindenhurst I think? Or just North of Lindenhurst a bit. They had a nice selection from what we looked at.

yep, they literally did everything for us. The rip out, installation, labor, sheetrocking, etc. EVERYTHING. The only thing we had to buy on our own was a new door from HD and they installed it
It was important to us to have someone run the show and organize the entire project for us - we didn't want to be following up with people all over teh place - way too crazy.
We found their prices most reasonably priced. We met with 4 other places and they came in as a best price. I'd highly suggest meeting with several companies to get a feel for what you want, what it will cost and get some new ideas from each person.
