Pickles.. What are the best ones
This pregnancy I am really hooked on pickles, lol..
My question is... what pickles have you found to be the BEST  Every jar I buy it doesn't seem to satisfy that pickle craving..
ETA: which supermarket can they be found out if they aren't popular.

Ba-Tempte Half Sours are the best pickles ever! I have always been a pickle addict and these are sooo good. Just make sure that they are bright green and haven't been sitting too long. If the brine in the jar is cloudy then they have already started to turn too much.

yes! and if you can get anything out of a big pickle barrel - go for it!
(if you're looking for a supermarket quick fix, i still stick by the vlasic though  )

EDDIE's PICKLES ALL THE WAY!!!!!!! You have to FM Steph (pmpkn087)! They are the best pickles on EARTH!
Since you're not in Queens, you can also go to Riverhead and get the pickles from the barrell at any Polish food store.

Shop Rite has the barrel. I go for the sourest of the sours.
Also Gold & Meyers in Planview has Ba-Tampte Sours..the yummiest!

It is funny, I am into pickles too but the only ones that satisfy me are fresh & my parents bring them down to me from Maine...I have a 5 gallon jar in the fridge!!!!

I ate 5, yes 5 of them last night. i had such a pickles craving and when my DH did the foodshopping Sat that was the only ones he could find! There are definitely better ones out there, but they did the trick!

See - my worry/dislike is when they almost cross a line and taste too much like cucumbers - which i don't like....so i'm B&G all the way baby!
