PGD question
So the new RE and I have agreed to try 3 more rounds of clomid should this one this month not work and then move onto IVF. I wanted to know if anyone had done PGD wit IVF...if there insurance covered the testing...if not, how much was it?
Thanks if anyone can help me!

Re: PGD question
We didn't end up having to go through PGD, but I do know my insurance wouldn't have covered it, and I believe my RE said it was about $5000

Re: PGD question
My RE and I discussed PGD prior to my IVF but my insurance did not cover it and it's quite expensive. I am also under 35 so I was willing to take my chances without the PGD.

Re: PGD question
I did it with my first 2 rounds of IVF. Insurance does not cover it at all. I was charged by my RE's office for the biopsy and preparation - I think about $2k and the lab who performed the actual test, Genzyme, charged $2k.
FM me if you want more info...

Re: PGD question
as far as i know, insurances don't cover PGD, it cost us $6400 in total, but it was a $6400 well spent
