pet peeves... because why not
grumble, grumble
if a party invite says a dress code AND YOU HAVE ACCESS TO THE INTERNET (to look up what the dress code means), why do you have to call, text, and email the hostess to ask if it's ok to wear shorts and flip flops to a "fancy" party?
you're 24. you're not 3. why do you have to say "ew" to food... that you're not even going to eat. the food is on MY PLATE. i am working on not eating junk food. i do not care if you don't like vegetables... i do!
don't tell me how my dinner is gross because the only vegetable you eat is fried potatoes!
what are your current pet peeves?
please add yours.

pet peeves... because why not
In my office, the cleaning people come around to collect the garbage from our offices in the middle of the afternoon. I don't know why, but this bothers me so much.

lol that would bother me too. That means anything you threw out after sits in there for almost 24 hours.

When I literally just wash the window with a glass cleaner and then the kids have to literally touch it right after. LOL
My oldest son, who is really smart, just has no common sense and will do the same thing every time after I tell him not to. Like leaning back on the kitchen chair. It's every single time he has to lean back and he says... sorry, you're right. I forgot.
Nothing too crazy, but a little vet on pet peeves. LOL

When people come late to group classes in the gym, and they squeeze and now I have to move my stuff or be careful... all when I got there 10 minutes before class and set up my things to have enough room to work out comfortably. Ah! and they don't even ask if it's ok and give their attitude

This enrages me, especially when it is a class like kickboxing or zumba where you actually need room to move around. My gym "limits" the number through a sign up and hands out tickets, but people just come in anyways. I flipped out on a lady in zumba because she was literally on top of me and I kept tripping over her.

My latest pet peeves:
People who do not understand personal space.
Students who come late to my classes after I’ve set up an activity.
Men who think they can just hit on you and give you their phone number, even after you have said you are not available. The best was this week when I got my tires changed and this mechanic guy kept doing it. This went on for about a half hour. It ended in him giving me his number and telling me to text him at certain times because of his wife and kids. I’m debating if I should call the company and complain about it, but I’m not sure.

School Zone Speed limit signs that flash at you when school is not in session.
It automatically makes me brake or slow and makes my heart race even though I am going the speed limit. It's 2018. I've seen other municipalities where it is only on when school is in session.

There's a building I pass every day on my way to work. It USED to be a school but is now vacant. And yet the school speed limit sign still flashes all the time! Very annoying

People who are constantly in a rush and then get annoyed. Like when people are waiting in line at a store and something takes more than 5 minutes and people start huffing and puffing, rolling their eyes and making comments etc...

I will preface this by saying I am fully aware of how ridiculous I sound but...
I can't stand it when people have to jam 45 pictures on the front (and sometimes back too!) of a Christmas card. The pics are so small and half the time you can't even see what is happening in the pic. It's like a giant cluttered mess! I got one this weekend where it was a tiny pic of the entire family bobbing in water someplace so it was 6 heads sticking out of water. Stupid. Even worse is when there is an additional collage of pics of all the family pets. The kids are just fine. Don't care what Charlie your golden doodle is doing these days. Nobody cares what you did each and every month for the last 12 months. Just pick A picture, two if you must, three at max, and use that.

I do one on the front- it's the whole front of the card one big pic. Then one on the inside left- opposite the saying on the inside right- and then one smaller one on the back.

LOL. I hate pictures and NEVER ever get in a picture so you'll never see my mug on a Christmas card. The thought alone gives me anxiety. I hateeeee how i Look in pictures. It straight up will depress me for days so I just stopped being photographed in any capacity.
But I always say- nobody wants to see me, they want to see DD!

i didn't know these collages were a thing on holiday cards. thank goodness i haven't received one. the most i've been sent is 3 pictures.
i'm so happy that i was too poor to do these back when DS was little. the thought of it all gives me anxiety and my kid is 23.

Yesterday I got my 6'7" cousin, his wife and their baby all sitting with Santa as the center photo (among the other 5 or so framing it) and I was like are you for real? Get the hell off Santa's lap ya big doof!

I am the guilty party adding multiple photos, usually between 4-6. I have some of my kids alone and some together, all from their Christmas shoot with an outfit change.
I don’t like family photos, photo cards in my opinion should be just kids. We take a family photo and it’s for my personal use.

Hahaha, I'm glad someone else said it, too. I've gotten 90% family photo cards so far and every one I open I'm like "and I thought I knew this person." They're in a pile and DH has flipped through it a few times, laughed, and said we need new friends.
Our card is one photo of DD

that drives me bonkers.
a lot of my relatives think this is the only way to wear perfume or cologne. you can smell them coming around the corner.

In my office it's cigarette smoke.
A pack of them go downstairs like every hour on the hour to smoke.
They come back REEKING so bad that it gets into the air all over the place.
I went into a bathroom stall right after one of them apparently and I felt like I smoked a pack of cigs by the time I was done peeing.
I could feel myself getting COPD.
It's awful.
I'm super sensitive to the smell of smoke too so forget it.
