Pet Peeves
When someone calls my house gets the machine and says "it's so and so, pick up."
Either I'm not here or we are busy, leave a message that is what the machine is for.

i could probably go on all day, but lately this one thing has been bothering me...
When you're talking to someone and they start speaking over you. I stop, let them finish, then continue on to what i was saying, only to be cut off again. And i dont mean the occasional "oops we spoke at the same time", but i have 2 people that do this EVERYTIME we talk.. its soooooo rude and annoying.
I think i'm going to start raising my hand to speak when i'm around them. 
Also, the same people talk the wholeeeeee time that my professor is lecturing. Seriously, i'm not here to hear about your weekend or your life, i'm here because it's required and i need to pass my boards. STFU already!!!!!!!

My biggest pet peeves usually center around the work place. There's this one chic from another company who drives me absolutely nuts. She always acts like her **** don't stink and their company does everything so perfectly. She is always trying to one-up our company and point out things like "oh, your staff was late to the case today"........well, the other day, the SUPERVISOR was late to the case after I had tried to play nice and say these things happen in healthcare, no one is perfect, etc.. I half jokingly, half serious said "well, guess we're even now in terms of lateness". Of course that didn't go over AT ALL well........

My pet peeve is when someone does that and I have voicemail through the phone company. I can't hear it when they are doing that. When calling someone, I can totally tell if they have phone company voicemail. It picks up differently.

Probably a really stupid one, but...
I hate it when I knock on a bathroom door and nobody says anything... then I go to open the door and it's locked! Come on people! A simple "just a minute" when I knock would be greatly appreciated!

People who ram into Ava's stroller when there's clearly enough room to move around us.
People who are walking contradictions. For example, "I can't believe Suzy stayed home from work today to be with her sick kid ," but then that person ducks out early from work to "run errands".

i was even in the daily news for my wedding and i was quoted saying "like"
i cringed when i read it! i wonder how i can stop saying it!

This one is odd but it got under my skin yesterday...When a newscaster's eyeballs move side to side as they read the teleprompter. LOL!
For some reason yesterday I noticed this with every news program I watched and it annoyed the heck out of me! LOL!

I have a friend that does this...or there are times I'll tell her a story and she'll say "That's just like what happened to me with....blah blah blah" and proceed to tell a totally unrelated story. It's like she just has to make it about her. So aggravating.

a spinoff to your phone one sarah...
i HATE it when people call from a # i dont know and dont recognize on my caller id and start with "its me..."
i talk to a hundred different people all day long cause of my job and most of them are clients. so yes, i like to make them feel as special as i can, but "hey its me" is not too helpful. i have to pretend my phone is breaking up and say "im sorry, i didnt hear you who is this again?".
