Pedicures with swollen ankles?

I was thinking about getting a pedicure tomorrow. I moved 2 weeks ago and have been heavy on my feet since, so I think they could use some pampering. The only concern I have is that my ankles have been swollen for the past week. Not terrible, but enough where it is noticeable to me.

Is it still ok to get a pedicure when your ankles are swollen? Should I ask them not to use hot water? This will be my first pedi all pregnancy so I feel a little unsure.

I went when they were horribly swollen. I asked for cool water because that is what felt good. Aside from being embarrassed it was great!

I think that's the best time to go...when they are swollen! It's awesome and soothing when they soak them and massage them.

I still go get my pedicure done every 2 weeks with my swollen feet and it feels great!

I had ankles akin to an elephant for months and got pedis all the time!

Mine are swollen too and I have been in desperate need of a pedicure. I tried to give myself one and that was not fun!! I think the massaging will probably help the swelling a little.
