Pathfinder vs Durango
I can't decide between the two. Anybody have any opinions on either one? Pros and cons. Thanks!

Re: Pathfinder vs Durango
My DH, who is like a part time, self taught mechanic, , is not a fan of Dodge. In terms of reliability, etc you can't go wrong with Nissan. The pathfinder is a really nice looking truck too!
My boss actually just got the Durango last month. He likes it, but he says he liked his Nissan better overall so far.

Have you checked out the Infiniti QX60? I think it's pretty much the same body frame as the Pathfinder. Not sure if the lease deals are any better though

I have no experience with the Pathfinder. But I will not buy a Nissan ever again. I was in an accident years ago, 40 MPH head on, airbags did not deploy and they should have. I have a 2012 Durango and I absolutely love it. I looked for a car for 4 years and the Durango checked all the boxes. Smooth ride, fuel efficient, tons of room. I bought used, so it was super affordable.

The Highlander or Pilot or Mazda CX9
not a fan of Dodge or Nissan from a reliability/quality perspective. Our family has had negative experiences with both

Re: Pathfinder vs Durango
I have had a Durango and a Pathfinder. I had a 2014 Durango and now have a 2017 Pathfinder. They cost about the same price even when I was looking last year. There are pros to each but overall, I prefer the Durango to the Pathfinder for overall style. One thing I do really like about the Pathfinder is that with the 60/40 bench to get 7 passenger seating, getting into the 3rd row is easier. Shoot me a fm if you have any specific questions.

Thank you so much. I think I'm leaning towards the Durango for the overall look and for the captain seating which the pathfinder doesn't offer. It's slightly bigger than the pathfinder too.
We're getting the DVD player with tvs in the headrests. I really wanted the 2018 Chevy traverse until I found out they're not offering DVD/tv.

I had a 2015 pathfinder which I LOVED. When my lease waa up I got the Infinity QX60, which is basically the pathfinder just a bit nicer. I'll likely get another too. Love everything about it

I had that entertainment system as well. I didn't go with Captain chairs because I wanted the 7 passenger seating. I love the keyless entry and start and Traverse didn't offer that until this year. The Pathfinder has stadium seating in the back and cools the seats as well as heats them and has a heated steering wheel. I only had heated seats in the durango.

You can get heated and cooled seats in the Durango. I have heated/cooled steering wheel and seats. I have the Citadel edition, so that may have something to do with it.

Re: Pathfinder vs Durango
I bought my Durango last November and I love it! We got the GT edition, it has the captains chairs in the second row, but the kids still manage to fight and hit one another :))
I love the big screen with the backup camera, and the backup sensors too. The third row only seats 2, but that really isn't a big issue for us.

Thanks everyone. Dh got a new Durango a month ago. I test drove the pathfinder and ruled it out. Looks like we'll have his and hers. Can't wait to get mine!
