Paint colors
Getting ready to put our town home on the market. I can;t wait!! We are choosing paint colors for every room to freshen everything up. My dining room has an unfortunate black tile floor. I just don't like it- it was here when we got here and we know that someone else will like it after us, which is why we didn't change it. Paint color suggestions? The rooms surrounding it will be white (kitchen) or a cappuccino colr (living room/entry)/ Right now it's yellow- too bright yellow. TAI

Re: Paint colors
I wouldn't do red if you are painting specifically to sell the house.
If it opens into other rooms, you may want to just use the same color--like the cappuchino, or maybe a light gray.

Re: Paint colors
Benjamin Moore Montgomery White is a beautiful, creamy yellowish color. It is neutral, we just painted our bedroom with it (to put it on the market). Buyers are loving it!

Re: Paint colors
I would stick with a soft neutral color, such as a light gray, soft tan, or cream/yellow.
I think white will look too stark with black tile, and while I love color, I think a color may be too bold/striking with the dark tile to appeal to the broadest spectrum of buyers (which is what you want to do!).
