Packing up summer clothes?
Have people started to do it?
It would be the perfect day to do it, but I think it is too early. I packed up some 1 piece things today but I feel like we will still need some t-shirts.

Re: Packing up summer clothes?
I've packed up most but not all. I have left enough for the days we still need. Honestly, I needed the room for his fall clothes. I packed up rompers, bathing suits and most of his shorts. The short sleeve shirts I have not because I have been dressing him in layers for daycare.

Hi! My name is Rachelle and I'm a shopoholic
I kept out the t-shirts cuz I like to put solid long sleeve onesies underneath. But away went shorts and sundresses and baby doll tanks

Re: Packing up summer clothes?
I left out his t-shirts and 2 pairs of shorts - just in case. But the rest are in the basket to be packed away - now I just need to go get another storage container...

Re: Packing up summer clothes?
I am keeping out things that he still fits in (ex: short sleeved polos) and has never worn yet. I figured I could pair it with a lightweight jacket or something right now.
All shorts and t-shirts are going to be gone tomorrow hopefully!

Re: Packing up summer clothes?
I did it last week. And since I never really properly packed up her winter clothes either , those went away also. 4 large bins worth of clothes! Luckily, I found 2 pair of pants from last winter that still fit my little skinny-minny!! 16 months old in 9 month pants!

Re: Packing up summer clothes?
I am debating since I had been packing things by size. I wonder if I should pack by size or season now.
I, too, want to make room for fall.
I also want to pack away because sometimes when you have new stuff, it just sits there and you wait too long and don't get to use it all. I need to say goodbye to summer clothes and keep a few tees in neutral colors. I don't foresee it getting so hot that we need shorts anymore.

Re: Packing up summer clothes?
No. I did not pack yet. I am still in denial Summer is over. So I left his clothes in there in case we get another few days of 85 degrees.
Most of his Fall clothes are washed already though and in his armoire. We started wearing the long sleeve shirts and the pants.
