ovulation/implantation question
Ok I might be in still or I might be out...what do you think??
FF (and "My days" and every other fertility calendar online) calculated my O day as 1/23. The last BD that I thought counted for this cycle was after midnight 1/21 (so technically 1/22). I had cramping last week, am experiencing extreme fatigue, irritability/mood swings, lots of nausea (even threw up while brushing my teeth).
I took two $.99 store test each night since AF was due (2 days ago ) both BFN. But then again they are expiring 2/2012 (now). I have a 24 day cycle. Is it possible since my cycles are short not to get a BFP right away or I have faulty cheap old tests? If I DID conceive could it have been say 1/25 or even 1/26 or later if I O'd later but his guys were there to greet my egg and implantation occurred later causing my tests to come up BFN?
Just trying to understand all of this. Even now I'm sitting here feeling like I need to throw up (sorry).
Thanks for reading

Re: ovulation/implantation question
it doesnt matter how long your cycle is as long as you have a normal LP... implanation can happen anywhere from 6-12DPO.. but most likely to occur 7-10dpo...

Re: ovulation/implantation question
The thing is, u dont really know when u O without some form of testing... just bc FF says ur 'days' doesnt mean its right - FF hasnt gotten a month right for me yet, in the last 14 months U could have O'd much later than u think, and maybe thats why u havent gotten a bfp or af yet.

Re: ovulation/implantation question
THANKS!
I'm reading online and I also found this:
"so hCG can normally be detected in the blood between nine and 16 days after ovulation (HPT: 12-19 days after ovulation)."
I could technically have a missed pd. (at 14DPO) and still not have a +HPT for 5 days later-that's new news to me! There's still hope. I'll hold out until the weekend to retest if AF doesn't show up before then...

id check to see when that website was last updated... HPTs can detect well before 12DPO
