ovulation and egg question

How would we know if we are actually releasing an egg during ovulation? I have had ewcm on Thursday but just a little. I have had more in other cycles though.

I got a + opk yesterday morning. We bd wed, twice on sat, and once on Sun. Maybe again tues. I'm just curious if its possible to get the LH surge but not drop an egg. Thanks ladies.

I answered this on your other post already, but...

If you regularly get AF and you're getting a +OPK, then there's a good chance your Oing. You can also temp though that's a big commitment.

The only way to REALLY know is to get a blood test.

Are you worried? How long have you been TTC?

Thank you. I dont know how this posted twice. In Dec 2011 I had a polup removed so the 2 months after that are considered the healing process. In 2011 I had longer unpredictable cycles. it was more just "see what happens " so figure from Feb.2012.

I just started temping diligently this month on a 35 day cycle. Lmp was 8/4 Mymonthlycycle.com says my fertile week starts Tue. Sun morning was the + opk and sat and sun my temp increased. So when exactly Should I be ovulating? It's a little confusing. Oh & yes I had bloodwork twice w my ob/gyn. Normal.

A temp rise is usually AFTER you O. Temps can also be affected by many outside factors.

I think I'd go by the +OPK that you'll O on Monday or Tuesday. Just keep BDing and you'll have your bases covered. Good luck! Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon
