Ovidrel & IUI timing
I just took my Ovidrel injection, and my IUI is scheduled for Saturday morning. I was reading through old posts and it seems like most of you had your IUI the day following the Ovidrel. My IUI is going to be 36 hours past Ovidrel. I am starting to get nervous that we are going to miss it. Anybody have success with IUI 36 hours later?
Edited to add: I have 3 eggs, 22 on right side and 20.5 and 20.5 on left. I also have a few around 14.5.

Re: Ovidrel & IUI timing
That is perfect timing - I had 3 IUI's 36 hours after trigger and they worked each time!
Good luck!!

Re: Ovidrel & IUI timing
I agree with above.
You ovulate 12-36 hrs after the Ovidrel.
When the checked me at 24 hrs (which is when I did my IUI), I still hadn't ovulated.

Should I be checked 24 hours after?

Re: Ovidrel & IUI timing
I think that for every IUI I had, I always thought their timing was off (they waited too long for me to Trigger, the time between the trigger and IUI was too long, etc....). I guess u just have to trust that they know what they're doing....not always the easiest thing to do. I had a few IUI's that were about 36 hours after the trigger.

No.
My RE. told me that I could either trigger in the AM (same day I saw him) and come 24 hrs later...or trigger in the PM (same day) and come 36hrs later. He said it made no difference at all since sperm have a really long life with good conditions (and supposedly hubby has good sperm).
So, I did an IUI 24 hrs later...Just before the IUI, he checked me (don't know why)...follies were still there....which is how I know that I hadn't ovulated in 24 hrs.
He never checked to see if I or when I did ovulate. I just started my 2WW from there.
But I agree with above; at this point, you just have to trust the professionals.
Unfortunately, I didn't get pregnant (which is the resounding theme).
Good luck!
