IUI and timing question

I finally just got my period after about 70 days, so I am going to be starting birth control for 3 weeks and then I am going to be doing an injectible (folistim) IUI cycle. My question is, 3 weeks will bring me to Nov. 12, then go in for day 3 testing on Nov. 14. and hopefully start injectibles. About how long do you do injectibles for? And how soon for the IUI? I know everyone is different but Thanksgiving is so close, its just about 2 weeks after I start the injectibles!! I am so worried because we were planning on going to NY for the holiday (I am in VA) Of course it would be just my luck to have to get the IUI on Thanksgiving!! I am not even sure how my RE works around the holidays I guess I shouldn't get too worked up yet, I still have to call my nurse to let her know AF came....

I just got my IVF calendar. I am assuming it is the same b/c the injections are all similiar. The plan for me is to start injections on Nov 12 and they are retrieving on the 24th of November which is probably when you would do the IUI.

NOt sure if i am right, but I think it would be close. I would say don't make any plans set in stone, you never know how your body will react!

I'm doing injectables (Gonal-F) with IUI.

Here's what we are doing:

Taking BCP until 10/27.
Going in on 10/28 for baseline IUI ultrasound.

Then the RE will instruct me on when to start the Gonal-F. That will be between 8 and 12 days of that, with 3-4 monitoring appointments (or more depending on how I respond).

Then I start Cetrocide 5-7 days after starting the Gonal-F.

Around CD 10-14, I trigger with Ovidrel.

Then around CD 12-16 is the IUI (24-36 hours after the Ovidrel).
