Our Nursery is (mostly) Done! Pics Inside-Edited with paint color
So I am so proud of my husband-we bought a dresser set off of craigslist for $40-we are using one in our room and one in baby's room. So he sanded it and painted it and the knobs to go with the room. He did an awesome job!
All thats left to do is move my glider in and paint the wicker bookshelf in the corner the same beige as the dresser.
They do have lots more clothes but they are in the drawers!
The blankets at the end of the cribs were a gift for the babies from my shower- I feel they are too nice to be used as blankets so I am thinking about folding them into shadowboxes and using them as decoration?
Just need to get some artwork and get the random stuff out of these (like the snap n go) and we are done!
I found out the name of the paint color. It is Sherwin Williams low VOC paint in "Open Air"

It looks great! Nice big room too!!
I wouldn't do that with the handmade blankets, I know a lot of people like to use them b/c of the holes, makes it easier to breathe if (god forbid) the blanket gets over the baby's face!

Thanks-thats what my friend said-but the pics don't do them justice-they are really pretty. I have to think about it.

the room looks great-- not sure about the shadow boxes though, I can't picture it.
What about hanging them on the wall with a rod-- like a tapestry?
Or you can also use them as stroller blankets-- when you are out and about... Just to cover the babies, they may not get as much wear and tear then.
