This stood out to me: "Eating organic fruits and vegetables can lower exposure to pesticides, including for children – but the amount measured from conventionally grown produce was within safety limits, the researchers reported Monday."
I don't trust that the government adequately regulates what is considered safe, and within safe limits. Look at things like BPA - gov't still insists the data is unclear and that BPA is safe.
I feed my son organic bc I believe it's a way to reduce his exposure to pesticides and hormones.
ITTTTTTA Government limits are laughable.
Agreed! And I wonder who sponsored this study. Monsanto? I wouldn't be surprised.

The calories, vitamins, etc are not healthier - the content is the same. However, organic is not genetically modified, pumped with hormones, sprayed with pesticides, or full of antibiotics.
I believe this is why most people buy organic....its healthier nit to have all those hormones and chemicsks in your body even if the food is not more nutritious.
