OPKs and lines
Hi Ladies! I know the second line has to be as dark as the first line to know that you are surging. But my question is...will there always be another line? Like can one day I not have a line then the next day there be a second line but its light and as the days go on it gets darker kind of like a pregnancy test? Tonight I saw a light line there does it mean I'm getting closer to O? Am I making any sense lol?

Re: OPKs and lines
When using OPKs with line you will see different shades of second line at different times of your cycle. All depends on how much LH is detected.
I notice that when I start with OPKs, CD10, the second line is pretty light. Then as the days progress it gets darker and darker until it's the same shade (Surge) I always check again the next day to see if I'm still surging and usually by then the 2nd line is lighter.
So you will almost always see a second line. But as you get closer to Surge, you will see it get darker until it's same shade as the other line.
Get the smileys! Take the guess work out.

Re: OPKs and lines
Thank you for your response. I feel like I was a little bloated today so I might check again later and see if the line is getting darker. My cycles are sooooo irregular that its kind of a guess game for me. I should look into the smileys =)
