It depends on how long your cycle is.
this past cycle I o'd on day 19.. so this cycle I will probably start around 16 or so as my cycles have progressively been getting shorter.

I start on day 1-..I normally O around day 14. In the box it will give you a guide based on your typical cycle length to start..-

I start using the OPKs when I notice my CM is increasing and is EW in texture. I can O from anywhere from cd14 to cd20, so I dont like to waste OPKs...they're too expensive.
If you monitor your CM, you will get an idea of when you should start using the OPKs.
