OPK Testing Rules?
I may have messed this up!
Correct me if I am wrong please.
- Take test in the afternoon or after work
- Do not drink and liquids or go to the bathroom for at least 4 hours prior to test???? 
I did take the test at work around 2:00pm but I was definitely drinking water all day!

I try not to drink too much water and I take the test in the afternoon, around 12 or 1.

I usually test between 4pm & 7pm (it varies every month). I hold my urine for 3.5-4 hours & I've definately never gone the whole 4 hours without drinking anything, but I try not to drink more than a couple of glasses of water. It doesn't sound like you messed up!

That's right. For some reason my RE has me testing in the AM with FMU but, that is wrong. However, when I do that I go in the next AM after I get the  for my IUI and they draw blood to check the hormone levels and It has been timed perfectly both times. Not that I am pg yet.

My lunch is from 12-1 everyday at work. I make sure that I don't drink any liquids after my lunchtime and then I test at 4. It has worked so far!

I waited between 2 and 4 hours to test. I tested between 4pm and 7pm.

I try and hold it for at least 3 hours. I don't drink anything. I test between 3 and 4:30pm.

I am not sure what the correct answer is but just wanted to share that I used OPKs when I got pregnant with both my DDs. I always tested in the morning. If I questioned the lines darkness then I would test again in the early evening. Good luck and    to you all!

I do not put restrictions on myself when testing. I try not to maybe drink as much water as I normally would-- but I wouldn't worry about screwing it up.
