Only a TTC'er
I was tutoring this morning and we were working on finding the area of irregular shapes. On the worksheet, there were line segments AF, CD, BD, & CM.  I had to stop myself from laughing because all I could think of was LIF!

that is hilarious! i totally have to stop myself from doing that when talking to others. And the other day DH says to me during the 2WW "how is your CM?" i looked at him funny and he said "what? i was doing some reading and thats what they called it." I was dying.

Yesterday, DH was all upset and told me he was just getting used to the LIW lingo and now I have been throwing new words at him all the time!

I've had similar experiences.
When I went to Costa Rica last October, I was reading the manual on to my new camera on the plane ride. It kept referring to the automatic flash as "AF" so naturally in my head I was reading it as "aunt flo"
Then when we get there, I noticed lots of billboards for a car rental company called "POAS"

When we went to Costa Rica we went to POAS Volcano National Park. I had no idea of the acronym at the time but once I joined this board, the first few times I read POAS I thought they knew about the volcano! DUH!
