Re: once you get pg...who will be your obgyn?
I am going to really miss Dr. B when I get preggo. I love how he treats his patients!
I will probably go back to my old OB in RVC. But Im going to ask Dr. B if he can recommend someone in Nassau County closer to me than Deer Park....

I just started going to Dr. Zandieh in Bethpage. A couple of girls on here recommended him. I was really happy after my first appointment last week.

I see Dr. Stuart Lustberg in Huntington. He specializes in high risk and my bff saw him with her twins. He has a private practice which is really nice.

Re: once you get pg...who will be your obgyn?
I will continue to go tot he ob/gyn I've been with for years. Dr. Gus San Roman... my RE's brother. When I had my son in 2008, I needed a c-section and he was off because it was the day after Easter. I wasn't thrilled with the other dr (she is not with his practice anymore) and the NP/Midwife called Dr. Gus in... and he came in on his day off. He told me that his brother got me pregnant and he wanted to make sure he finished his family's work by delivering my son. Amazing people!

I really don't think this could possibly be true...
Sure it's not Dr.Kramer who he shares the office with ? I know for a fact that he stopped delivering ( I used to see him and now see San Roman)

I know everyone LOVES him, so maybe it was misinformation? Maybe he just isnt taking new patients? I am trying to remember who told me this, but it was VERY recent like maybe a week or two ago.

Good possibility he's not taking new patients at this time...he's always pretty swamped..
I'm calling tommorrow and will update with the response

He's my Dr too. I've been seeing Susan lately when I go in for sono's, whom I like too. And Michelle the midwife there is awesome too!

oh thank you for finding out I am so relieved - he has been doing my infertility testing and never mentioned any of this - so glad it was just a rumor. And by the way there is a new doctor in his practice - Dr. Phyllis White, I met her recently - still love Dr. Gus the best!

Re: once you get pg...who will be your obgyn?
I will be seeing Dr. Zandieh and Karen in the same office. I love Karen and followed her from Dr. B's old practice. Dr. B was my OB when I had my son, he delivered him, I really wish he could still be my dr. As long as Dr. B is ok with me seeing Zandieh I'm going to give me a try!

Re: once you get pg...who will be your obgyn?
I've also heard good things about Dr. Zandieh. I also work 5 minutes from his office. I would love to switch to him, but the problem is I went to high school with him! He was a senior when I was a freshman, but we have a lot of mutual friends, b/c we were both in the drama club. Would be awkward, right?

im going to ask dr. b for his recommendation. i dont even have an ob/gyn right now since i switched to an RE.
Dr. B recommended Dr. Mark Pillitteri in Deer Park. He's a bit out of the way for me (I'm in Levittown), but he's familiar with all my immune issues/conditions and he trained with Dr. Kofinas, who is my Perinatologist.
As much as I loved my previous OB/GYN, I like "my boys" to be on the same page.
Good luck!
