She had a teenager, and a 5 year old. The Grandfather had to tell the 5 year old. He also hasn't told his wife, her grandmother or his sister that she was killed. They are in Jamaica on vacation.

This is so sad... My dad told me that he knew the woman Jamie - he was in the hospital about a year & a half ago and he said she helped him rehab his knee (he had a knee replacement). He said that she was SO nice and used to chat with him about her fiance all the time. That they were saving up money for their wedding and all that.

We were shooken up at work today about this.
I also was speaking with my FIL who is a former NYC narcotics detective, who speculates that someone at the pharmacy knows who did this because that's quite often the case.
I am sure we will hear soon who it is.

Everyone that was in the pharamcy was shot to death unfortunately.
Hopefully the pictures they have put out will put this monster behind bars.

I could not believe it when i read it this morning. I was driving to cvs on 112 yesterday and seen the road taped off with all the cops, my heart sank then just knowing something bad happen but when i read who many innocent ppl were taken for such a dumb reason i was devastated. Its so scary what some ppl will do, and its so close to my home 
Im sure they will find the man soon and i sure hope he gets what he deserves!!!

I cannot believe this but my husband and I indirectly know the two patrons killed. The 71 year-old man is the father of someone my husband works with and the 33-year old girl was a PT assistant at St Charles Hospital which is where my DD went to PT for a year up until recently and I completely remember seeing this nice girl walk by us all the time, even though she didn't service my daughter!
I am SICK!

The suspect did not run from the scene. The 33 year old's fiance was in the car waiting for her and saw the suspect walk in and out. He was wondering what was taking so long, so he went inside and found them. He shot all four of them brutally, none of them had the chance to fight back.

My DH said...thank god that guy didn't stare at the shooter, or pay much attention to him because he probably would have gotten shot as well.
Our office was told that all mom & pop pharmacies should be on high alert because the shooter didn't take a bad full of narcotics like the media is reporting, he only took approx 300 pills.

My brother-in-law's uncle was one of the victims, they are devastated. It makes me sad this is the kind of world my baby is growing up in.

I just found out that her fiance is the cousin of my ex-SIL. We're still very much connected to the family and James actually was waiting for her outside of the store. He was wondering what was taking her so long and went in and found her. This guy walked right in front of his car...the pain he's caused so many is inconcievable :( :( :(

I know Jamie's dad. I worked with him for a few years. Seeing him on the tv yesterday was so sad.

I want to believe this, but I don't know if I do. The source is the NY Post and when I clicked on the Post link, it made no mention of this. Maybe they are trying to keep it hush hush so the guy doesn't flee.

I'd be shocked if they don't know who did this by now.
He looks like a meth addict - good chance he's been arrested before for a drug related crime.
The fact he fled on foot makes me think he lives in the area. Surely by now a neighbor or acquaintance has phoned in his ID.
Maybe even his family has turned him in, I would.
I honestly hope the cops shoot him when going in for the arrest.
