OMG, I Cannot Believe What Happened In Medford Today, Which Is Where I'm From...
Police: 4 killed in apparent robbery at Medford pharmacy
(06/19/11) MEDFORD - Police are investigating what led to a shooting that killed four people inside a Medford pharmacy this morning.
Investigators say someone entered Haven Pharmacy around 10:30 a.m. today and attempted to rob the store. They say something went awry, leading to the shooting that killed two employees and two customers.
The pharmacist, who was not at the store at the time of the shooting, was hospitalized with chest pains after learning about the incident.
A former employee said that the owner always instructed the employees to cooperate with a robber to avoid an incident like what transpired today.
Police say they are still investigating and have not arrested anyone yet.
I am freaking out. I have a Toddler and am always right in the exact area!

So sad :( I just read one of the victims that worked there was a high school student that was to graduate next week.
I am sure the robbers were specifically after pills since there wouldn't be much cash in a store on a Sunday morning.

My step dad had to work late because of this. He said it has been a crazy few mo ths with some real random wild things happening around.
The poor owner passed out when he got there.

I know the young girl that was killed.  She was my friends niece. Very sad. Her family is just in so much pain right now.
Many prayers for everyone who lost someone today.

I'm guessing someone didn't cooperate. I'm a pharmacist and have been robbed. Always just give them what they want. Your life or anyone else's is not worth fighting with them over.
So sad.

The 18 year old was a student in my district and we just received a call informing us...it was horrible to hear as a parent...my prayers are with her family and friends...

He ran from the scene so I'm assuming he doesn't live far from the crime scene.
With pics out just a matter of time till someone local identifies him - can't be hard with those big ears.
