OMG DISGUSTING!!!!
I was cooking frozen spinach and i found a DEAD BEETLE IN IT!!!!  
I was horrified!!!!

wow. I thought I heard that all frozen veggies were Kosher, and Kosher things cant have bugs. I am not even Jewish but I always think about this because I hate finding bugs in my food!!!!!!!

Actually, according to the Jewish dietary law, vegetables are suppose to be soaked in slightly salty water for at least 10 minutes before consumption. The reason being--it gets all the bugs out!

I don't think they are all automatically kosher. There are some brands that are probably.
Anything that comes from the ground is kosher (pareve) unless it is mixed in a sauce or with meat that is not kosher.
Veggies would not be kosher if they are processed in a plant that produces non-kosher foods.
If the plant uses non-kosher utensils or machinery, the vegetables would not be kosher as well.
If the vegetables are processed in a plant that mixes its vegetables with a cream sauce, then the veggies would be KD or kosher dairy.
Bugs arent religious. They go for what looks good - kosher or not.
