my 17 year old cousin went through the same thing... with the right treatment and medications hopefully she will be fine. My cousin is now going to college and has a part time job...

I am so sorry to hear this! My goddaughter went through something similiar - if I recall about at that age too. I think the teenage years nowadays are very hard for a lot of them.
I hope that they can get through to her and find out why she would try to do this to herself. I pray that she realizes how loved she is and gets the help she needs to never try to harm herself again!!
everything at that age seems like the end of the world when things are bad - it is a hard age to be - hope she can get through whatever brought her down - reassure her that she has her whole life ahead of her and how loved she is...
