Older child double stroller
Hello, I am looking at double strollers even though my 2 will be almost 5 years apart. I walk to the park a lot and it is a good walk, so I know DD who will be turning 5 a couple months after the baby is born would want to sit sometimes. It is also good for amusement parks, zoos, etc...
Anyway, what double stroller would you recc for a 4/5 year old and infant/baby.
Thank you!

Re: Older child double stroller
My 2 will be three years apart, and all the doubles we looked at were really bulky. The city select was the only multi-position one where one kid wasn't hidden on the floor behind another kid, and that's hard to lift up onto curbs, etc. and the city mini and b-agile double were wide and bulky. We are holding off, but I will be checking out the g-luxe version of a double once it hits the stores.

I have the citi mini double and my 4.5 year old twins will each take turns sitting in it with their 3 year old brother. They still have plenty of room in it.

Re: Older child double stroller
Test drive it in a store. I liked Joovy x2 for comfort. Only other one that was close was a very $$$ jogger. DS had broad shoulders at 2!

I would not invest in a side by side for a 5 year old. I would look at a sit and stand or a single with a 2 seat option like the uppa baby or city select.

Thank you all. I think what I am going to do is focus on the single stroller with one of those ride on boards. I will buy a used double for longer outings. I rather put money into the single since I will use it a lot more, and she will like riding on that board. We will be walking to school and the park a lot so if she doesn't want to walk she can stand on that.
