Old Irish Superstition

Just wanted to post for some believers out there.

My cousin has a 6 month old baby. My mom told me to put one of the baby's socks in my underwear drawer to help me get pregnant. I did it last month and I got my BFP this month. Obviously I do not think this was the only reason this was my month but just thought I would share a cute tradition in my family. Every little bit helps.

My mom did this years ago for herself and it worked. Also my cousin mentioned above took a pacifier from my sisters baby and my cousin ended up PG like 2 or 3 months after that.

Never heard of that one...but I like it! Chat Icon Unfortunately, my SIL and BFF aren't due until Feb. and March respectively, and I hope that I am PG before then! But if not...I will definitely do it! Thanks for posting this superstition! Chat Icon Chat Icon

I'm the cousin! I can tell you that I think this may work after all. It's a little silly but it has worked for a couple of us in our family, so why not give it a try. It doesn't hurt. Good luck everyone! Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: Old Irish Superstition

Does it have to be a family member? Otherwise I might be doing a sock raid at all my friends houses!!!
