OK...maybe i'm alone on this one.....
but since WHEN is the LIF Home board, the resource for MLSLI.com?????? Lately, every other thread is a link to a house listing....not for anything, but this isn't MLSLI!! Where have all the threads about decorating, renovations, pics of befores and after...etc...where have they gone?
Maybe Ron needs to add a Real Estate board to this place, because honestly - it's just clogging up this one!!

plus, the one in kings park was a garage, not a house

overkill imo. i can totally understand someone posting a link or two here or there...but its almost as if this board is turning into the "Home Listing" board, and thats it. There's usually so much more to this board, and lately it just hasn't been that way at all.

I don't frequent this board enough to have it really bother me, but are people just posting random houses?? It just seems that 90% of the houses that are posted get ripped apart, so I am not sure what purpose it is serving.
Wouldn't it be easier for a poster to say "hey, I am looking for a house in X, Y, and Z town in this price range, who can help me" - and keep all the possible houses within that 1 post??

oh ok....thats how i took it.
well, not to name names, but its usually the same person/people who post random homes....why not FM them and ask why?
I posted a home today bc someone was looking and I thought it they would be interested...

agreed! but if you look at say pages 2-5, on this board - there are lots of good posts with no replies. I suspect that is partially because they get pushed back so quickly by other things.

i see 5 house listing
the rest are threads about other aspects 
Like i said...
i find the random house postings annoying to be honest.
I think that if people want to ask if other people see any good houses in a particular area...cool post the houses
but to randomly just posts houses is a waste...I have always found it so.
But come on...
this board ISN'T about people who just have homes
it is for those of us still looking as well
so i see that aspect as well

and nobody ever said it was. I just believe that the point has been made that there might be a more productive & useful way to display houses.

I agree-- people who are looking for houses are also readingthe home board, but the MLSLI links are overkill.
There are other parts to the search process, such as questions about realtors, mortgages etc.
