I can never find my car when I leave a store. I wander around the parking lot for a bit and sometimes have to set off the alarm and follow the sound.

I am horrible, HORRIBLE at math. I still count on my fingers, and make mistakes all the time. DH even has a term called "Liza math"
I can't figure out how to find a percentage of something, and I come onto LIW and LIF with math questions all the time!
I still count on my fingers too- i cannot do ANY math in my head... at all- but somehow I do Ok at math and managed to get my MBA and made it out of managerial accounting, finance and stats...
Oh and I am scared of being startled.. if my DH- my HUSBAND for goodness sakes- hides in the house- and I know he's going to jump out at me- I sit on the floor and cry.. i'm not kidding.... it is so pathetic. He does it to me all the time and laughs at me- it's so mean. I wonder if there is a phobia of being startled.

i sweat like a man with the instance of heat...
once its warm..i put deoderant under my buttckeeks, top of the crack, under my b00bs, my cleavage, my lower back, and sometimes along my pantyline so i dont get embarrassing sweats marks. also on my feet. maybe im a bit overboard, but better safe than sorry! oh, and my upper lip always sweats first...soooo ladylike...

I learned how to do laundry in college.
I also learned how to use a razor in college. I used an electric shaver before that b/c I was terrified of cutting myself. The first time I used a razor, it took me at least 30 minutes to shave my legs b/c I didn't want to cut myself.
I learned how to pump gas in law school.
Except for driver's ed, I didn't drive on a highway until law school. Merging and driving fast always made me nervous. Now I have a lead foot.
I have a terrible sense of direction and when I'm not driving, I never pay attention to where we're going. DH always drives. I barely know how to get around our town. Before I started driving, I had no clue how to get to places around my hometown.

this is a great post!
a few i can relate to:
I am PETRIFIED of my basement. if i have to do laundry down there i RUN up the stairs at top speed. AND i refuse to go down there if my brother or sister is over bc they will lock the door until i hysterically cry and one of my parents comes to save me ( yeah i am 24 - nice)
oh and the fear of being startled - i cry about that too. . . i still refuse to walk into FH's house alone bc i know he will try to scare me so i will sit and ring the bell until he answers . . .

I have no - ZERO - interpersonal skills. I failed socialization 101. I am horrible at conversation, in possession of no wit and embarrass easily. I am embarrassed to say I am a social trainwreck.
ETA; ALSO... if DH is not home and it is bedtime I MUST sleep with the lights on - often I will go and cuddle up in bed with my youngest son because it scares me a bit to be home alone after bedtime.

Until this last move, where I lost it , I had my security blanket from when I was a baby and used it when I was anxious about something.

I can't go under water without holding my nose. No matter what, water WILL get in if I don't. And forget diving... never learned, and if I did I'd have to hold my nose.
I can't swim the real swimmers way either. (what is that breaststroke??? I don't know)

I sleep with a Gund teddy bear I have had since I was 10 His name is Buddy and sometimes DH steals him from me, so he can sleep holding him! He is very squishy

Sometimes, in the summer, I rip a paper towel in half and stuff it between my "girlies" - I can't STAND the feeling of sweat between them!
I learned that trick in high school from the track coach.

I can't dive either. Every time I tried I would chicken out. I just can't seem to make my body do that!
I also can't blow my hair out.... I'm so bad with stuff like that. If I try it comes out like frizz.
