speaking of driving, I drive everywhere with no problem. I drive to queens a few times a week sometimes.
but I HATE and get all frazzled when
1) I have to merge onto the parkway
2) when im in the right lane (so as not to slow down the left lane) and there are cars merging INTO the parkway and I have to decide whether to keep driving and they barrel into me, or be the good guy and slow down because they think they own the road and just barrel right in..
so the word MERGE gives me the creeps 
and Im really not one of those slow annoying drivers. I drive at a speed where Im comfortable and in control, usually 65ish. but I wont speed out of control just to speed or just because a shmuck is having a race with his buddy.

Oh I thought of another one...I am afraid of the dark. When I lived at home I slept with a light on. NOw that I am married I insisted on a night light Dh wouldn't go for a full on light

yup im the baby in the family so i didnt have to change sibling diapers i babysat but toddlers out of diapers and i too dont have kids yet so that should be interesting

oh wow thats a good one....yea me too but im ok when dh is home but when hes at work for the night i need the kitchen light on the lamp on and the tv to go to sleep

I wake myself up choking on my own snores...
This started during pregnancy and 9 months after I had my baby, Snorey McSnores-a-lot is still going strong.
DH pinches my nose closed sometimes and he wears earplugs because of it!

I can't go on road trips (or away) without my pillow. I have to have it on my lap at all times. Dh's patented line: "Damnit, that f'n pillow. I'm going to hide it!!!" I DARE him!

I absolutely LOVE this thread because I can relate to SO many These that have been mentioned apply to me as well:
- can't go under water without holding my nose/ definitely can't dive
-horrible with directions (NSEW)
-can't do percents/ count on fingers
- have no clue about politics

same here! when i lived at home i had a night light! and now with DH we keep a night light in the hall way and sleep with the bedroom door open so that there's some light but not too much to keep DH awake. he thinks i'm such a baby!

After I leave the house I am always afraid I left something like a curling iron plugged in even after I know I checked it.
I CANNOT sleep without a blanket (not a sheet) no matter how hot it is.
I'm afraid to sleep in my house alone.
