A weekday evening is good! 7ish or 8ish sounds good- Fridays too!

I vote for Friday night because that is when the outside bar is open and that could be nice. They recently changed the whole menu and most of it is seafood - just to give you a heads up. There are tables in the inside front bar and they would put them together for enough people but I still vote for outside.

That sounds good to me. What days are good for everyone... 6/24, 7/8 & 7/15 are good for me at the moment. What about everyone else?

I called Finleys --- and got some info.

We can reserve a table out or inside IF we are having dinner (even if we just get apps.). However, if we change our mind (out to in or vise versa) they can't gaurantee that it would be available.
For drinks only, no reservations needed - she said there is plenty of room outside and in.
They have a happy hour - half price drinks (all) from 4-7pm.
OK date -- this Friday, June 17?
Next Thursday, June 23 or Friday, June 24?
8pm is fine for me but might go earlier to take advantage of the happy hour.
Let me know and I will make a reservation, or not...

June 24th is bad for me, my Mom is coming to visit.
Any other day so far is OK with me though.
I think Friday is a good night to do it.

I'm not a LI girl so if its a weeknight I may not be able to swing it .. or I may be late depending on how early I can get out of Manhattan, though I dont have a way to get home after that  (but if weekenights work best for you gals then go for it!)
I'll let you girls figure something out and I'll try my hardest to be there!
I am not on LI either but I would be able to come down on a weekend, I'd pop in to see my folks maybe (or maybe not)
If it was a Friday night I could come in too, and Felicia I could drop you off on the way home as know you live somewhere south of me.

Aww how sweet, thanks for the offer , Tracy!! I keep forgetting you are living in the boonies now But chances are that if we decide on a weeknight or Friday, DH would hang out on LI at his brothers (he works on LI) and then just pick me up from Finleys and we'd head home together ...
But unfortunately, for now this Friday is out for me .. and 6/24 I am babysitting my nephew (irony at its best on the TTC board , huh?)
But if either date works for the majority, please just go ahead with the plans and i'll try another time

Its a little confusing....Should we start a whos in and what dates cant you do it thread? To keep track?
And we then decided its a Friday night at Finleys? Take it from there?

Friday's weather - high of 87 degrees chance of thunder showers. Im sure it will be fine.
I have the RE on Thursday but Im planning on beinf at Finleys on Friday around 7:30 ish.
