Ok, I must confess...
I check Ava to see if she is still breathing in her sleep sometimes! I will wake up in a panic and run over to make sure she's still breathing!

I still do this and my children are almost 10 and almost 5
I make them sleep in my room when I have the AC on because I cant hear them with my door shut

Ummm 9 months later and I still do it except now I am so paranoid about waking her up that I study the video monitor to watch for her to move. I don't know if I will ever stop checking.

I am an extreme case- my oldest DS is 4 and a half- I still watch him on the video monitor every night.
AND, my little DS is 13 months- not only do I have a video monitor on him, I also still have him sleep on the Angel Monitor (SIDS alert) with the ticking sound to make sure he's breathing at night. I'm paranoid and can't help it!
