OK, I have an even BETTER Idear!!!!
The warm weather is upon us, and I am sure there are TONS of us who have CRAP they would love to get rid of, so I was thinking of having a Charity Garage/Bake Sale for Janet.
Sometime in April.
What we can do is bake something at home, and bring all your junk to my house on that day. I will put ad's in all the local papers, and make signs all over the neighborhoods, and all the proceeds of our sale will go to Janet.
How does this sound?
And then after, we can have cocktails at my house!

I thought about this all day today. I mean, there are only so many cookies and cakes we can give her.
But this way, we can raise money for her and her daughter.
I know that I have TONS of stuff to sell. I would advertise it in the papers, as a charity garage/bake sale, and make sure to word it in a way where people will know Janets story. I will make flyers and distribute them to all the local shops in my neighborhood, and will e-mail the flyer for others the distribute.
I think we can really make this work.
I am thinking April only because Janet is going to need some time, depending on the outcome of her situation, which I am still praying will turn into a miracle.
I will be sure to make this happen, I promise.

I am making a whole list of things that I would like to do during this sale.
Even if people do not end up buying anything, I am going to make a donation bucket. Every dollar helps. My neice and nephew want to come and sell iced tea and lemonade. I have a really long driveway, so we can use the whole driveway for set up.
I will have food for us, of course. And mi casa will be su casa, and just go in and out for whatever you want.
Janets story has hit me hard, and I want to do something that will not only benefit her, but benefit all of us.
I have also put in a request to my company (American Express), to donate a 100.00 gift cheque, and I will be recieving it on Monday.

I think that is a great idea. I have a ton of stuff you could have. You know that saying about "one person's trash is another person's treasure" 
I also think April would be a great time, the weather will be warmer and those garage sale addicts will be out in full force!
