Oh great! Red spotting! Good Update!
Last night was brown no cramping. It went away and now it's red mucousy (sorry tmi). And I have minor cramps but not bad at all. I'm 7.5 weeks. I put a call into the dr but they are in NYC. They will just tell me to go to the ER, right.
Update: we got home from the ER. They did a sono, internal and bloodwork. Everything is good! 2 strong fetal heartbeats and cervix is closed. No blood near the babies or in the cervix. No clue what it was from. I go to the OB tomorrow to follow up.

I'm on my way now just to make sure. It's light and I don't have cramping. I had some usual minor cramping this am but I figured it was because I was running around. I pray that my babies are ok!  I'm holding onto hope that it's nothing.

Oh no!!!! Yes, go get checked.
But keep in mind (easier said than done,) that this has happened to a lot of ppl lately and the babies have all been fine!!!

not that it will make you feel better but im 9 1/2 weeks along but at 6 1/2 weeks i had bright red bleeding with clots and i assumed the worst and everything turned out to fine...my baby was ok...my doctor said some times you have bleeding that they cant explain...so try your best and keep your head up!!!!

Thanks! Did you have any cramping too? I'm having minor but I've been having cramping on and off since day 1. Cramping seems worse when I have to pee. If that even makes sense.

Praying for the best! It really could go either way. It really could be normal..many women have red bleeding and cramping early on in pregnancy.

i wouldnt say i had cramps...just the normal twinges maybe minor cramps...thats why i was so confused about the bleeding...i didnt even know i was bleeding until i got home from work and went to change my pants....after that i only had spotting when i went to the bathroom and by night time it was all gone...i'm glad your going to get checked just to ease your mind...im sure everything is going to be ok...

Mine are pretty much my usual cramps too. I went to the bathroom while here and there was nothing there again. At least this saves me from going to NYC later this week for my sono.

I hope everything is ok!!! I had bright red bleeding and cramping at 8w3d, and it honestly felt identical to me as when I miscarried....but I went to the doc the next day and all was ok. While it can go either way....try not to worry too much unless the bleeding becomes heavier (like clotting). Once they do a blood test for your beta #'s you'll have a much better idea if things are progressing as they should. I hope the bleeding has stopped for you!! It turned out I only had the red blood one night and brown spotting for maybe 12 days after that (it just stopped a few days ago!!). Good luck and keep us posted!!!

take it easy.. lots of water, and get checked. At nearly 24 weeks, i still have it every so often. A colleague of mine had it as well with her first pregnancy. I actually had it recently, called the doc all while the baby is kicking away.

I had brown spotting in the beginning and then at 6 weeks 2 days I had the mucousy red spotting and was terrified, with cramping, everything was fine and that was the only instance of spotting and I am now almost 18 weeks.
