Official JANUARY 2013 Mommy to be Thread!

I hope everyone is feeling well! I am 32 weeks today and my Csection is scheduled for Jan 16th...7 weeks from tomorrow. Hopefully he stays put til then. Next Thursday is my last day of work and I am looking forward to being home again. I was home with dd for a year and have missed our routine although I do love my students. Being on opposite schedules from dh has been rough, too. It's hard finding time for everything I have to do, but I am happy I went back for this time. I have 127 really amazing students who make each day interesting. I can't believe how soon ds will ve here. He was a huge surprise and I still can't believe god has given us this gift.

I'm 34 weeks today. 6 weeks left! That's just crazy to me. I am totally waddling. DS is sitting on my nerve so sometimes it's very difficult to get around. My feet/ankles look like hams. I've gained 20lbs. I went for a sonogram about 3 weeks ago and the baby was 16.3 inches long and 4.2lbs. My latest follow up was on the 21st and the doctor said everything looks great. I have another follow up on the 10th and then I go weekly!

hi all

31w4d today and repeat section is scheduled for 1/21! 8 weeks from yesterday! Weekly appts start next week!

baby measured 3lbs 2oz at 31w (almost 1 lb smaller than my son who was born at 8.7lbs so I am expecting a 7lber I guess!)

Nursery is coming along, carpet, paint and all furniture minus crib is done. Crib comes on Friday then I can start decorating

My mom and sister are throwing me a sprinkle on Sunday and then off to pickup whatever else we need! I have been hoarding BBB coupons

Feeling good, tons of BH, up 4ish lbs (i cannot seem to gain even though I am the first to admit I have been eating crap recently).

Today was the first day that I began to feel guilt about the changes that are approaching for not only our 2.5 year old, but for our "family"... i am just not going to let myself think about it we made a decision that will impact DS forever and although I am SO excited about our , this is something we will all have to get used to. A new "normal".

Is there any chance they can flip back into position? I go to Prenatal Yoga; and they always recommend Cat/Cow pose to move baby down. Maybe there are some moves you can do to flip him/her?

Had my 33 week appt yesterday....baby is 4.3 pounds and his legs are measuring 35 weeks...crazy long!!!

No complaints about anything thank goodness!! I start internals in 2 weeks and am not looking forward to it.

I can't believe that in 2 weeks, we officially start our month. It's gone by so quickly!!!

I'm currently 34 weeks and feeling great. Still sleeping good but that could be because of all the walking, christmas prepartion and active kids that once I hit my bed, I'm out.
Monday I have my growth sono and can't wait to see my again.

34w4d and feeling pretty good. baby is very active which can be uncomfortable, especially sitting at my desk - i feel like I squish her and she fights back! Tons of BH while sitting at my desk at work.

Last day of work is scheduled for 1/18
Baby scheduled to arrive 1/21

Crunch time now! Nursery is pretty much done. We don't need much of anything. Starting to wash some clothes, take big items out of storage to wash, pack a bag, carseat is ready etc.

I have a feeling the baby is a bit over 5lbs at this point. Constantly peeing but once I lay down and pressure if off my bladder, I am fine. Most nights I dont even get up to pee, once if anything!

It will be January before we know it!

Hi ladies! Just a few more weeks! I'm 35 weeks today and had growth sonos on Friday and Monday. My big guy is weighing in at 6 lbs 7 oz so if he stays put til my Csection, they are expecting him to be between 8 and 9 lbs. I also had my first nst on Friday which kept my being monitored at my perinatologist for four unnerving hours. The baby was nonreactive for the first three hours, meaning his heartbeat was steady. They almost had to deliver me. Luckily he started cooperating. Now I am doing kick counts three times a day. I have appts every Friday and Monday now (perinatologist then ob) so it's a bit crazy. My ob made it clear that I should expect to go at any time so to be prepared. Everything is washed. I just have to sterilize bottles and have his car seat installed. I am hoping to make it another two weeks. I'm hosting Christmas so somehow it wouldn't surprise me if he showed up that night lol. I just finished work last week which is great. I'm enjoying my time with my 15 month old dd who is constantly rubbing her belly or mine when you ask her where baby joey is. Too bad she has no idea what that means :)

I am 35 wks 2 days! I had my growth sono yesterday. I am up 27 lbs, baby is head down and approx 5 lbs 15 oz My Dr talked about inducing early which I am pretty excited about (assuming there is no risk to )

Everything else is coming along... we completed renovations to build the nursery. Now we have to hang the decals on the nursery wall and take clothes and gear out of storage to wash and organize.

It will be here before we know it!!

35 weeks here. Had my growth sono on Friday and she's weighing in at 5.9. I still commute everyday to the city which is so tiring. Everyone thinks all that walking and those stairs in the subway will make her come sooner. Last day of work is Thursday and I can't wait!

We're all getting so close!!

36W3D! Full term on Saturday. Lots of BH, even timed some Friday and they were 5-7 minutes apart. Luckily they stopped after laying down and drinking tons of water!!

Getting the nursery ready still! Dresser should arrive tomorrow, and the crib will come next week!

Feeling sad this pregnancy is almost over but more excited to finally meet this baby!!! Last day in the office is Friday. I commute into the city and it's just too much! Walking and dealing with the subway is getting to be too much!

Can't wait to start seeing posts that our babies are here!!

I had my 35 week appt today. They did a nst, blood work,strep b swab, a biophysical sono and my first internal. All looks well with me and baby. No dialiation or effacement yet so that's good.

I can't believe January is here already and can't wait to hear about all the beautiful January babies.

Good luck to all the January mommies! My C section is scheduled for 12/26, so I will be a December mommy. I've been to the hospital twice because I was bleeding, but everything is fine.

Can't wait to meet the little ones!

my csection is scheduled for 1/21. Just found out today that we will have off from work on 1/21 (MLK day) so technically, my last day is 1/21

Went to my 36 week appointment tonight, 2cm 70% effaced. OB was able to feel babies head he/she is so low!

Lots of contractions tonight, might be from the internal?only 23 days until my EDD!

37 weeks here. Had an appointment tonight. Dr said I was 70% effaced and 1 cm dilated. I had some contractions too after my internal.

just got back from my 34w appt.

everything looks good, baby is head down. BPT and NST were good. They did see spasming in my uterine artery which could be a high BP precurser so we will watch it.

Baby is low - fluid is good. We will do a growth sono next week but I really feel like she is 5.5+ lbs now!

4.5 weeks to go!

looks like im crossing over to the parenting board again! had my twins last week at just over 35 weeks. had some little hiccups since they were born, but they are doing great now and ready to come home any day!
