FAT feet! My feet and legs have gotten so swollen over the last week. Ive gained almost 10lbs in 2 weeks. These babies are pileing weight on.
Had my 1st internal- I'm 1-2cm dilated and 80% effaced. I'm hoping I can keep them in at least one more week!

yeah i know i need to sort and make piles.... what stinks is that some people did not give gift receipts so some outfits i am stuck with if i never end up using them!
the only dumb dumps that didnt give me a gr was my immediate family. but thats ok. i wasnt going to git rid of their stuff anyway.
i wonder if you can can get store credit without the receipt

oh man. stinks that youre all swollen. hope they can bake for another week

Just got back from my bi-weekly visit and the baby is BIG! I need a growth sono to determine the exact weight next week but the doctor is saying he/she is measuring two weeks ahead! Its head is down and the feeties are in my ribs. My iron is a little low so I have to start eating more red meat and spinach and take iron supplements...great, now I'll never poop! Other than that, all is well!

at week 35 went to the doc this morning. they took some blood this morning to run some standard test. to my surprise they did a GBS test. thank god i just read about it the day before or else i wouldve had zero idea why they were swabin certain areas
her hr was great. my bp was fine. i had two contractions while strapped up but nothing crazy. then i was told they need to check my cervix  after my experience last week with all the pain i told the doc(was a partner mine was out)how bad it was she tried her best to be gentle. it still hurt but only a little. anywayyyyy its closed and high.
going back on friday for a biophysical profile.
i just realized im going every week until i pop
oh and the next time she gets measured is week 37 
almost forgot last wednesday i was 152 today 149. i was 147 when i got my bfp. they say its normal while being on a gd diet. i always freak out when i see the number go down but whenever i get a growth sono and they tell me her measurments i feel better. two weeks cant get here soon enough so i can find out what she might weigh

The vagina part hurt a little but thats because I've been so sensitive down there lately. The back didn't hurt at all. The doc didn't insert anything she just swabed the outer part of it. At least thats what it felt like.

i must be having a brain fart but how does he know  is measuring two weeks ahead without a growth sono. did they do a regular sono?
ive been eating lots of iron and taking supplements. no wonder the doc the told me i was constipated when checking my cervix. i was told it was ok to take peri-colace or coloce. i belive they are both otc

Hi everyone...I haven't been on LIF in what feels like forever! I read this thread on my phone all the time but it's annoying to respond from there. So I've been keeping up with all of you and how you're all doing/feeling.
I have a DD who just turned 2 yrs so she is keeping me busy...that's why I never get on here.
Someone please remind me when you get growth sono...does everyone get one and how is it different from regular sonos? I get a sono at every single appt...not b/c I'm high risk or anything - just b/c that's how my practice does it. The machines are there in each room and I get a quick little sono at each appt. I honestly can't imagine not having one...how quick the appts would be.
I just remember when I had DD my OB at one point told me I was measuring 2 weeks ahead but that was from the tape measure on the belly. He always says growth sonos are so inaccurate and always off so I wonder if he just doesn't do them. He never gave me an estimate with DD on how much they thought she weighed.
Curiois this time...I've gained a lot less weight, am all belly this time but my belly is huge and I feel like there is no more room for this baby to move...I think is big! DD was 8 lbs, 5oz.
I didn't even set up a nursery believe it or not...it's SO diff when it's not your 1st. I'm so laid back this time. I know the baby will sleep in our room for a bit so I'll take care of the nursery after arrives. Just pulled out all the white side snap undershirts and onesies and any neutral clothes I had from DD. I bought new nipples - have all the bottles from DD...I'm fully prepared if I give birth tomorrow! That's pretty much all I did. Just have to take out swing and rock-n-play and wash them and stuff like that. Nothing too major.
Oh and I have to pack hospital bag and install car seat which I can do with my eyes closed...that infant base is SO simple to install for those who haven't done it yet. I deliver on LI but live out of state (only 45 mins away) so I have to pack a bag for my DD too....since she'll be at my parents when I'm in the hospital. I need to have her all ready to go too.
I have my first internal on Thurs night.

I can't believe I have less than 30 days to go now! Tomorrow is my Dr's appointment and we will probably be scheduling the external version (and c-section in case that doesn't work I am guessing). I am nervous but excited.
ETA: I still can't believe we are pregnant for 280 days (that sounds SO long) and now I am under 30 days to go!!

37.5 WEEKS!!! AHHHHHH!!! I have a shortened and softened cervix but no dialation. Baby is in the 50th percentile so I'm happy about that, predicting between a 7 & 8 lb baby if I go to 40 weeks! DD was 9lbs 5oz so I'll be psyched for a smaller baby! Right now baby is measuring 6lbs 10oz! I can't wait to meet my team green baby!!

AHH good to know, I go next Wed for my 36 week appt and he mentioned he was going to take a "culture" I believe for Strep B... looks like I'm in store for a lot of fun!
No growth sono yet, but doc said last time he estimated an 8 lb baby at birth, so we'll see.

Hi ladies!!! Former August mommy here checking in from the hospital right before I leave! Baby girl was born at 35w 5d! 7lbs 7oz! Can you imagine had I gone full term?! They are saying she would have def been over 10lbs!! Will give you all full details tomorrow some time... But will say be cautious... When you think you have peed yourself... It may not always be pee! Lol baby girl has to stay in an extra day because of the age, since she was 35 weeks it was automatic NICU :( then today she developed a lil jaundice but because of her size they arent concerned at all!! She is doing fabulous!!! Already eating a full 2oz every 4 hours. So make sure your bags are packed ladies! It really can be any day!!!
